British authorities arrested WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Thursday, after Ecuador rescinded his asylum at its embassy in London (after seven years). A U.S. federal court unsealed an indictment charging him with conspiracy to disclose classified information
that could be used to injure the United States.
Oh, and Wikileaks claims that Assange was being spied on while he was in the embassy. (Can you say "irony"? I knew you could.)
I'm generally an "open" kinda guy, and normally I'd side with whistle-blowers. But, since Assange is such a jerk, I'll make an exception in his case ...
