Google has decided that, from now on, you can't turn off the status light on Nest security cameras.
On the on hand, it means that you can't use them for watching people in the shower.
On the other, it means that burglars get a a warning that security cams are in operation.
(Of course, if you have a bit of electrical tape ...)
