My hobby is fishing and I have focused on kayak as my transportation for the last few years. Many times I have paddled by the holding ponds for the water that is extracted from the Potomac River and prepared for use by the Washington DC metropolitan area. You can drive by those same holding ponds on River Road. I would hate to think of the ease at which that water could be contaminated.
