The alt-right (along with the tin-foil hat) crowd have finally started to run afoul of long-standing standards on social media platforms. Kicking them off has started to become known as deplatforming. Their need to spew garbage on an unrestricted basis has apparently led to some "innovations," sometimes being referred to as alt-tech. The innovations don't seem to be very innovative, being mostly low-grade hacking, and attempts to misuse existing platforms and systems without being caught.
