Dangerous place, IKEA ...

Bring gun into "weapons free" store, sit on couch and lose it, get up without noticing you've left some weight behind, and later a kid finds it ...

Gun control means being able to ... never mind ...

(I taught in Indianapolis once ... although it was closer to downtown ...)

I thought you were going to say "Dangerous place, IKEA, because you always end up spending more on stuff than you intended...".

In the UK, the worst thing you might find in IKEA is a grumpy and tired me, anxious to get out and go home.

I really wished you finished that thought.

I "gun check" myself probably every 30 seconds when I'm walking around.  And I do a full inventory every time I change my posture (sit to stand for example) including ID, keys, phone, equipment, etc.
