OK, it's not as if the crypto wars hadn't already been relaunched by the idiots. It's not even as if it was the first time Barr got in on the action. The FBI lies to overstate the "need." (Although the NSA, with a lot more brainpower over there, seems to have come to a reasonable conclusion.)
But Barr (this time on the child pornography hobbyhorse) seems to be back in the "encryption is bad" fight ...
