Hi All
Interesting piece from UK and Neuroscientists: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/08/07/brain_hacking_bsides/
Apparently far easier, than one thinks. now think embedded implants, IoT, connectivity, 5G and keeping humans ethical without external influences? If you attached this capability to an AI, or the other direction you could go is who need simulating drugs or pain killers - or potentially work someone to death scenario.
How would you know they would be under the influence or affected?

It's bad enough if your emotional response can be influenced by another entity, it's very disturbing if it could be done without you knowing about it.
(I suppose proponents will say 'What you don't know won't hurt you.')
An amusing irony: The technique / technology being used to condition people to have an aversion to Facebook, and the result: -
Current scenario : Most people are comfortable using Facebook, whether or not they're aware of the risks.
Resulting scenario : People are just not comfortable using Facebook --- it's a 'gut' feeling.
