Board Elections

Has anyone seen the bios or platforms for any of the board candidates for this year.

I am curious what they offer and when any of them will stop by for one or two exchanges with us.

Elections are less than two months away.

I don't I've seen those in the past that far out from the elections.

Usually when the elections open up, there will be bios and their platforms (or their goals for the role) for each candidate as part of that.

This is what I've seen with other organizations as well.

Also, in some groups, especially professional associations, to promote your candidacy before the election is seen as campaigning, and is either not allowed or frowned upon.

Oh, I very much doubt that any of our Board members could *ever* be accused of
campaigning. It's almost impossible to get any of them to even *talk* to a
normal member.

But they, or the Powers-That-Be at ISC2 HQ, usually do post bios and "platforms"
on the Website, and that usually happens fairly early in July ...

I asked as I have not seen anything or any of the potential board members here......and it is late July....also not on the web site per the email.

Also note that on June 26, 2020 there was an email from (ISC)2 stating that there were two petitioners... the process is alive and well!

There seems to be an error in Professor Slay's bio where it is stated that she was a Board Member between 2006 and 2012.
