Beards vs suits ...

I have a beard.

 

Oh, you don't trust me on that?  Fair enough.  Most kids don't trust men with beards.  Here:

So, do companies trust greybeards?

 

Probably not.  The C-suite seems to be filled with kids, so they don't trust us.

 

They think we are powerful, though ...

So you're saying Ken Thompson, Dennis Ritchie, Bruce Schneier, Steve Wozniak, Paul Allen et al are all inherently untrustworthy due to facial hair?

Well, unless our C-suite sample was under 13 on average, we should be safe:
