Apple, Privacy, & GDPR Impact

In the past few days there have been several articles online on that topic, driven by Apple’s move to give US users their GDPR data transparency tool.
Here are the links:

(repeat of Axios article)

A few months ago I began moving my primary online support from Google to Apple, specifically because of the better privacy approach by the latter company. Apple is not gathering and analyzing data for advertising purposes, which is the core of Google's business plan.
The nature of the 'net, I cannot completely abandon Gooogle sites and MA$ Office, but I am doing a lot more on iCloud than previously. The transition was easy, because my primary home computer has been Apple MacOS since my first Mac XL (Lisa) in 1987.

I posted this intentionally to the Industry News forum instad of GDPR because many community members might miss it over in the GDPR forum.
