Here is the New Zealand Government guidance on the use of Generative AI.
This includes 10 “Do’s” to use GenAI safely within the Public Service
1. Robustly govern the use of GenAI
2. Assess and manage for privacy risks
3. Assess and control for security risks
4. Consider Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi)
5. Use AI ethically and ensure accuracy
6. Be accountable
7. Be transparent, including to the public
8. Exercise caution when using open-source AI
9. Apply the Government procurement principles
10. Test safely
