GDPR and BlockChain-based Businesses

Tooting my own horn, but this is my first European byline.

My short take on issues of contention between GDPR and blockchain businesses.

It's hard to see who would be liable for violating privacy on a public permissionless blockchain solution.

Most identity proposals emerging for blockchain store identity information of chain. Again the identity owner retains the link.

Exactly Robert.  That's the question.  If they *do* store covreed info in the public block chain, it runs smack into the GDPR requirement for "right of erasure."  I agre the solution *is* to store such info off block chain.
