question regarding ISC2 Cissp Exam Retake Policy

I have a question regarding ISC2 Cissp Exam Retake Policy.
If I don’t pass a FOURTH time, how long should I wait to retest?

180 days from my fourth attempt ?
If not, all the records reset and the cycle begins again - which means 30 days from my fourth attempt ?

Thanks. ASAP

Will this answer be maintained in 2020?

Here is a recent blog discussing the exam retake policy: https://blog.isc2.org/isc2_blog/2020/10/cissp-exam-retake-policy-change.html

Thank you for your answer.

I would like to know about the process of changing the examination policy and retake policy.

I will ask you from 2015.Don't tell me you don't know. I'll wait.

Hello @Apple11

As mentioned in the CISSP Exam Retake Policy Change (https://blog.isc2.org/isc2_blog/2020/10/cissp-exam-retake-policy-change.html), if you don’t pass the exam on your third attempt (and for all subsequent retakes), you may retest after 90 test-free days from your most recent exam attempt. However you may only attempt a particular (ISC)² exam as many as four times during a 12-month period.

This exam retake policy change allows for more frequent re-testing, as well as consistency in policy between exams, which is a benefit to exam candidates.

If you have further questions regarding your specific situation and attempts at taking the exam, please reach out to our member and candidate support team at https://www.isc2.org/Contact-Us.
