Identification does not need to be government issued. The (ISC)² rules spell out few other options, such as a credit card, work/school ID. Since you will be testing at a Pearson VUE facility, you might also want to make sure you also meetthe Pearson VUE rules because the two rule sets are not identical and one can never be sure which rule the gatekeeper will chose to follow.
Because I was paying out-of-pocket and was stressing out about losing my money, my solution was to visit the testing center shortly after scheduling and asked them if I was in the right place and if my ID would be sufficient. Also learned where to park, where the restroom was and other "housekeeping" details.
