GST (Goods and Services Tax) charging While Buying CCSP Voucher in India

GST was supposed to be charged w.e.f. 01 Aug 25 on all purchases. I was buying a CCSP voucher as of 31 Jul 25, but it is charging around $107 as taxes. Why is it so? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Thank you for reaching out via ISC2 Community about being charged tax on your exam purchase.

I do see the email sent out by ISC2 dated July 1, 2025, announcing that Goods & Services tax on exam purchases will be collected beginning August 1, 2025, in India.

However, I know that when we launched our platform and e-commerce upgrade in April 2025, it included a global tax service application. 

Since then, we have had many inquiries about exam purchases and taxes now being charged.

If your ISC2 shopping cart and/or your checkout shows tax, then you will be charged tax, even if the purchase is made before August 1, 2025. 

My apologies if this is not the answer you were hoping for.
