CISSP required experience period

Hi,

After several years out of IT world, I decided to come back. I just passed the ISC2 CC exam. During the time I was studying, I realized that I am still very familiar with nearly all concepts that are covered (nothing new to me regarding cryptography for example).

Therefore I was looking at the CISSP certification, that requires 5+ years of experience in at least 2 of the 8 domains. I do have those 5+ years but there were between 2004 and 2013. Will those years of experience be recognized the certification or don't they qualify as it is too old? It haven't found any answer anywhere so far.

Thank you to help me find the answer.

Regards,

@Anthony_H There is no timeframe for experience as long as your endorser agrees that the supporting evidence reflects 5 years cumulated experience across at least two domains of the current exam outline AND that your supporting evidence can pass a random audit.
