CCSP

Is there a need to maintain your CPEs for the CCSP qualification, what are the CPE requirements? What happens if you take a break from the security field. Can you put the certification on hold till you return?

Yes, you need to keep up with CPE requirements for all ISC2 certifications.

Also, you can't put your certifications on hold if you take a break, you need to keep up with the CPEs and the annual fees until either you retire and request your certification to be put into retired status (caveats and a one-off fee apply) or you just decide to stop being an ISC2 member and stop paying your fees / submitting your CPEs. Be aware there are penalties if you do this and then decide you want to become a member again.
