Hello, I am planning to take SSCP exam in near future. May I know the study plan from who already got succeeded. And What books and traninings are available? is there a way to get discount on exam?
ISC2 does not offer discounts on exam vouchers. I would recommend the official Sybex book and questions. The available resources are much different than when I took it in 2015 but definitely recommend keeping the exam objectives with you at all times and reviewing often. That is what are expected to know and is good for identifying knowledge gaps. When I took mine, I used the CRC official book which covered up to the exam objectives change in 2015 and StudISCope for questions which is no longer available. Best wishes.
Hi, First of all, you can start with Mike's linkedIn learning course. Then finish the official Textbook. Finally, practice official practice tests book. In the meantime, practice related topics on TryHackMe or HackTheBox.
@mdmuktar Mike Chapple is very well respected. As far as the tools, those are not really going to help with this exam, but a person could do those if they enjoy them for fun. That is a lot more about offensive security. It is not a profit center; so there are very few people actually doing that for a living.
