Good book for the ISSEP exam?

Does anyone know of a good text book for the ISSP exams. All the ones I can find are years old. Are these still good (useful) anyway?

Thanks

The CBK has changed dramatically over the years for the ISSEP. It has become more applicable internationally that is why there is no textbook.

My best advice is to look at the Certification Exam Outline and align your reading to those "job tasks". Be careful with the reference list provided. It is not up to date. For instance the IATF is no longer available. Don't use it. Use NIST SP 800-160 volumes 1 & 2 and the INCOSE System Engineering Handbook. Also use the NIST SP 800-37 (RMF) and the NIST SP 800-161 (Supply Chain Risk Management). For technical management use the PMI PMBOK (join PMI for a copy). Good luck!

The IATF is still available. You can get it here:

I'd say it's still very much applicable to the exam.

@Jeff_Godoy - this may help https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/references

bear in mind that this list gets updated once a year only and any version changes we do keep the items updated on.  ie - NIST SP 800-53 is now on rev 5 (while rev 4 is will not be withdrawn until Sept 23, 2021)
