Hello, I am looking for some clarity as the Official ISC2 Book and Official ISC2 course contradict each other.
Is this accurate?
Verification ensures the software was constructed correctly.
Validation ensures the correct software was constructed.
The book and course are shown below.
This definitely is 1) confusing and 2) in need of an errata on both of these.
My understanding:
Verification ensures the proper build
Validation ensures the product built meets the user needs and intended usage.
Maybe @JMExamTeam Or @CBMExamTeam would be kind enough to review/comment and pass to the correct department.
Others?

@bjscharf Thank you for the question.
Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for that.
I realize it puts quite a burden on you, but my best suggestion is to keep reporting what you find.
Thank you for your diligence!
