Hi,
I am currently preparing for the CISSP exam, and had a question -: Will all the scored questions that i get in the actual exam be limited to the content of the CBK, or can i expect some questions from beyond it?
Thanks
@oddball27What I recommend is having a copy of the exam objectives/outline with you. Not only to remind you of what expected to know but also to identify gap analysis in their knowledge. I think should print it off and note your experience first. This helps to know that qualify on experience but also makes it much easier to fill out endorsement because already have it. The CBK is not really for reading but good for difficult topics, and a good study guide is much better for reading. The beta/pre-test questions are in the first 100 on the adaptive exams. I also highly recommend reading Luke’s How to Think Like a Manager as helps frame the mindset needed to answer the questions correctly. I think that helped me the most as our tendency is to select the best technical answer which is usually not the correct one from the perspective of the exam. It is an experience based exam as well so really need to know the exam objectives. Feel free to ask questions if have any. I do this at work for our folks and glad to share. Best wishes.

No. Question authors are required to cite "authoritative sources" as part of the process. ISC2 publishes the most frequently referenced sources for each exam. The CBK is one of maybe 50 sources listed for CISSP.
