I'm currently half-way through the Self-paced learning.
I've finished Domain 1-4 and I feel like the training is too vague.
I did a previous course to prepare before I did the official training expecting the ISC2 training to be in-depth, but I feel like it's missing a lot.
All the other training, blogs, and other books cover a lot in large detail about what you do need to know and the scope of what I'd needed to pass the exam.
In the Official training, I've found it confusing, as there are certain things that are mentioned once in passing during a 3min video, that isn't in the Official textbook, but then other online sources say that you need to know that thing and every other version of it from the 90s through to today and you will get tested on it in the exam.
Or you get videos that start by saying "As we previously covered" and there is no other official content on that topic.
I've found diagrams labeled step 1-10, but 8 & 9 are missing on the diagram.
I've purchased multiple books to help me gather the info that is needed to pass from community forums saying what helped other people pass and I'm relying on the community's advice rather than the official training.
Which certification exam is your official online training on?
@DMZ_Peace You think that the self-paced training for the CISSP is not sufficient?
I'm doing the CISSP
I'm doing the CISSP
I did the official self-paced training for CISSP recently.
I enjoyed it. Took a bit of time to get used to the way the course worked.
Unfortunately, there isn't much that we in the Community can do to solve your issue.
You should reach out to the folks in ISC2 and provide your feedback to them.

The organisation cannot teach the exam, so some topics may or may not be covered to the degree that we would like.
@mariatirado are you able to put the correct folk in touch with this gent????
