**** Update **** - took test about 2 weeks ago and passed. I just paid my $50 AMF yesterday and I’m officially CC certified. Good luck to all those studying and preparing. All I used to study was the material given by ISC, nothing more and nothing less. No PBQs on the exam. Best, James I've been in a helpdesk role for 6+ years, and NEED to branch out of this role. I'm opting to go the Security, Cloud route and thought I'd take advantage of the CC exam since it's free. I've gone through most of the videos, and have passed all assesments in the high 700 range. Do the assesment questions that are available change? Or are they always the same? I assume I'm ready to take the exam if I can pass the assesments. *PRAY* - I hate testing!

I passed this exam today after taking a week out of my CCSP preparation and using this as a way to 1) familiarise myself with the testing center and environment, and 2) get a feel for how ISC2 structures their exams. I've been studying for my CCSP for 3 months and am writing this month, so most of my preparation had arguably been done. But I still felt like it would be safe to go through CC-specific content. I used Thor Pedersen's course and exams on Udemy and Mike Chapple's course on LinkedIn. For this level of exam, I think Mike's course is more suitable; his explanations are clear, concise, and straightforward. The key for me was to not go overboard, because the amount of material out there can be overwhelming. Thor's course, whilst great for general security knowledge, was a bit too much. His exam questions are quite tough as well so if you score well there you're probably going to do well in the exam.

Hi everybody. I passed my CC exam yesterday after two months of preparation (weekend only). I thought the exam to be neither difficult nor difficult, but the big catch was the use of English vocabulary. Extra effort is required to grasp the questions. Furthermore, my personal advise is to thoroughly comprehend the foundations and where they were applied so that you understand the goal of the situation in question. Also, try to match keywords with supplied options because many questions are indirect, and don't worry about technical questions because they are all directive. Note: Please check your isc2 registered name exactly to correspond with your I'd proof before you travel because one student had this difficulty on exam day.

Hi, does anyone know if the Certified in Cybersecurity certificate is a higher level of the Security+ certificate? I am currently studying for the Security+ certificate and plan to tackle the CC next.
