SGS is a small, nimble business focused on partnering with our clients for mutual success. We are seeking a CSA to become a valued member of our team supporting a rapidly growing global technology client.

 

The CSA will split time between developing technical cyber security solutions, project management, and developing policies and procedures. Understanding industry best practices are essential as is the willingness to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity tools. The CSA will be in a rapidly maturing organization and will be required to take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Gain knowledge of the enterprise and its resources to develop new policies and procures. This includes identifying those that are no longer needed or due for updates or revisions.
  • Determine security requirements by evaluating requirements and client strategies; research current and emerging capabilities along with industry information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
  • Plan security systems for deployment by evaluating network and security technologies; develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to client standards.
  • Manage the implementation of security systems by specifying their requirements, developing schedules, and coordinating with the client and third-party vendors to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Develop a continually updated playbook for assigned projects, including lessons learned, and historical documentation.
  • Prepare executive-level project briefings and updates on your portfolio of projects.
  • Monitor logs and incidents to determine root causes, gaps, or indicators of compromise. Work collaboratively to develop solutions to protect the enter

 

Education

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar relevant field.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in enterprise systems lifecycle management, structured system development methodologies (preferably Information Engineering), structured analysis, and/or information systems development or a relevant technical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management with a strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, probability, and impact.
  • Proficiency in written and oral communications across multiple stakeholder groups ranging from junior staff to senior executives.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong background in process development, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and hands-on training materials.

 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Professional-level certification in Fortinet products and VMware.
  • Certification in Microsoft cloud and security products.
  • Preferred certifications; Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Experience with one or more of the following: mobile endpoints, device management, and architectures including Windows or Linux server software and technologies, HA and redundancy configurations, Cloud and virtualization software and services, and hyperscaling.
