There was initially an Ireland Chapter that was dissolved many years ago. About  2 years ago a couple of individuals toyed with the idea of restarting a chapter locally, but never followed through on it. I reached out to them several times to help, but was ghosted. 

PM me and I'm happy to discuss why i think it's an incredibly challenging jurisdiction to set up a new chapter.

The response below is correct. There was once an Ireland chapter and the start ups have been challenging. There was just another application for a chapter in Ireland and we hope that this launch is successful. Please stay tuned and help if you are able.

Unfortunately the Ireland chapter was not able to get off the ground. If you all would like to work together to get this going we would be happy to have a call with you. Please email chapters@isc2.org so we can set this up. 

On another note, we do have a Chartering Chapter for Scotland now in the works that is going well.
