There was initially an Ireland Chapter that was dissolved many years ago. About  2 years ago a couple of individuals toyed with the idea of restarting a chapter locally, but never followed through on it. I reached out to them several times to help, but was ghosted. 

PM me and I'm happy to discuss why i think it's an incredibly challenging jurisdiction to set up a new chapter.

Hi Matthew,

The response below is correct. There was once an Ireland chapter and the start ups have been challenging. There was just another application for a chapter in Ireland and we hope that this launch is successful. Please stay tuned and help if you are able.
