If an opportunity to commute 140 miles per day also presents a great chance at learning and team membership, and includes at 25% increase in pay, would you take it?
Asking for a friend.
I used to commute in on train and then use a foldable bike to bike the mile to work. Sometimes I would walk/run but the train is on a schedule and when walking/running I would sometimes miss the train and have to wait 30-45 minutes for the next train. Using the bike I was always on-time. So you can find creative ways to do things if you have options. When I moved back to a rural area, my only option was an hour and a half car drive.
Thanks for the guidance and ideas, everyone. My friend passed muster with the screeners, and will likely start December 1.
Well Congratulations for your friend!😁
