PDI course - "CISO's Guide to Success"

(First off, I really don't know where to put this, but it might as well go in "Welcome" since it's kind of a review of the content provided on the "community" and ISC2 system overall ...)

Secondly, this is personally disappointing.  I put in many hours of work trying to help with content for this course, and I can't find a thing in there that I did/provided.  I may be missing it, since the course navigation is not particularly clear and seems to be multi-layered.

I don't think this is much of a course for CISOs, or those who want to be a CISO.  This is a sort of two-hour CISSP review, and, of course, being that short, has all kinds of pieces missing.  It concentrates on some areas of management, bits of training, some physical security, and some business continuity.  It has a major emphasis (at least in terms of time) on the capability maturity model, but it doesn't present anything earthshaking there.  There is also a "30-60-90 day" plan for planning, which just says you need to investigate, review and think before you start planning.

There are questions, as you go through, to provide a self-check.  I must admit that I didn't listen to the lectures and didn't read the material, and I just gave a quick nod to the questions.  By the time I was halfway through I had only got two questions wrong, so they wereen't very hard.  (Or very good.)

Hello @rslade

I've connected with our team that helped to create the course, and they believe that the course content you have looked at might be a different course and not the one that you helped to contribute to. The course name for the one with content from yourself is titled Pathway to Becoming a CISO. From my understanding, the content that you helped to provide was greatly appreciated, highly valued, and definitely added in the course. I know that you are experiencing some issues with notifications right now, but Liz has reached out to you via private message with her contact information and encourages you to reach out to her if you would like to discuss this further.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
