CPE Credits for Self-paced course?

Hi CPE Gurus!

I and other colleagues are taking the CSSLP Self-paced online course and official book online.  We have a mix of CC and CISSP credentials.  How many credits is the self-paced course and/or book worth?  Is there any guidance on this?

@bjscharf I did look at the self-paced training and did not see the CPE hours listed. I know that will be on the completion certificate. I know that some of the other ones like CISSP and CCSP are 40 hours because our folks have used them. I would guess that is to align with the maximum hours that can claim for self-study. It would definitely count for either certification. I thought that could find the hours on the site but was not listed.

The official online book, CSSLP Official ISC2 Textbook, 6th Edition, I learned just as much from and it probably took longer to get through than the course.  But according to the above link, I see nothing applicable except for "Self-directed learning: books" for 5 CPE credits.  I assuming reading the book and completing the course would total 45 credits.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

@bjscharf After referencing the Certification Maintenance Handbook, I agree that would be one entry of 40 CPEs and another entry of 5 CPEs. I had honestly never submitted CPEs for reading. I am thinking that used to have to do a write up. A good source of CPEs for me is the BrightTalk webinars. They are on current topics and are applied as CPEs on your behalf. So they are not subject to audit.
