Hi everyone. I'm a certified Salesforce professional who got laid off from a large professional services company a while back. I've been looking for work for a while and was wondering if the CISSP/CISA/Amazon Cloud certificate path was worth pursuing. I'm aware that a certification alone won't get you a job, but what is the job application process like for the CISSP certified - do people talk to you for just having a certification?
I've got around 5 years of experience in IT, but it isn't exactly cyber security related. Has anyone made a similar move? I'd be an ISC2 associate before becoming a CISSP, and I've got no problems studying and getting designations. I'd just like to be sure it's worth my time.
Thanks all
