Hi - I've recently taken the CISSP exam, and am looking for a study partner to help me prepare for the retake in a few weeks. I'm located on the East Coast (NYC) if that helps.
I am taking exam in March, I am also for study partner in NJ
Thank you for the suggestion!
You’re absolutely righ with the security concepts still fresh, the CCSP is the logical next step. It’s actually already on my roadmap; in fact, I just downloaded the CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) kit yesterday. I completely agree that vendor-neutral certifications provide a much broader strategic value than vendor-specific ones.
I also really appreciate your perspective on studying. Every brain processes information differently, and finding that 'personal fit' is vital for long-term retention. In my case, I’m a very hands-on learner: if I can’t take something apart, put it back together, and make it work, my brain just doesn't grasp it.
Because I know how challenging this journey can be for families, I’m planning to develop a cross-platform app to improve training for people with special needs. I firmly believe that one of the core principles is supporting the parents so they can, in turn, better support their children. If you ever need help or a sounding board regarding special needs support or study strategies, please count on me.
Regarding Luke, I’ve definitely seen his work! I watched many of his YouTube videos, and of course, Think Like a Manager was a staple for me. I must have watched it at least 20 times; it was a fundamental part of me earning my CISSP.
