Hello Team, Just joined the ISC2 Certs, Love to have some feedback how I can prepare to respond to the 100 Questions within 2 Hours.
@shamaltennakoon I have not heard anyone that had issues with the time so far. The exam is currently linear, and there are 25 beta/pre-test questions in the 100. The exam does change to adaptive October 1 which might influence your plans. You cannot return to any questions once answered even in the linear format. So take your time to read them carefully. Make sure that you know what is in the exam objectives/outline. If you do have a reasonable accommodation requirement, Pearson Vue will work with you on that. If the self-paced training does not seem like enough, there are other resources including books and online training, of course costs but definitely a good start on certifications. It is not an easy exam. I signed up when ISC2 was looking for volunteers for the pilot even though I already had a CISSP because wanted to be able to speak about it intelligently and to encourage others. Best wishes.
Hi NKEATON, Appreciate the quick response. Just completed the pre-assessment, managed to secure only 99%, looks like I need 100%. Will work through the program, I believe it is worth it. Cheers for a great day. Shamal
@shamaltennakoon Very good. I always suggest keeping a copy of the exam objectives (ISC2 calls it an exam outline) with you to remind yourself of what they expect you to know for the exam. It is also good for gap analysis on your knowledge. I would also encourage you to become familiar with the Pearson Vue sites near you that offer ISC2 exams (not all do) to not only know the location but to play around with scheduling without booking to become better familiar with availability to ease your mind on that a little. This is a good first step for you.
