I passed the CC Exam

I passed my CC exam on December 11, 2024. Here are a few tips for anyone planning to take it:

1. Go through the online free training course multiple times.

2. Purchase the book; it was very beneficial and came in handy.

3. Use flashcards. Review the flashcard for each chapter after completing that chapter.

4. Watch Mike Chappell's videos on LinkedIn Learning and take detailed notes. These notes will be essential for understanding the topics.

These are the resources I used. The exam questions are designed to assess your critical thinking skills, so if you don't understand the Domains, you may get confused.

Lastly, stay calm on exam day, and make sure you understand the questions before attempting to answer them.

I wish you all the best of luck!

Google the one million CC study training and it should appear. You can also search for it in the ISC website.

Hi,

I have noticed there are two websites to learn from ISC2. One of the links takes you to https://learn.isc2.org and the other one to https://isc2.obrizum.io/org/cc.

Can you confirm which link you used?

Two month?

I had the CC Exam today. I looked at the training last Saturday and Sunday.

I see some problems without discussing questions in detail:

- I read the german and english online material. (Fastly, I had in the initial questions ~80%)

-- the german one was badly translated and is shorter then the english one  (no cards for example - readable in 3 hours, english one i think was around 4 hours)

-- questions in the german online one where sometimes so wrongly translated (think of the english "subject" which is sometimes translated to "object", sometimes to something else in german which makes ansers difficult... - if i would have known that before i would not choosen the german test - but the test questions in test center where a lot better translated - and there you could choose to see the english ones, which helps a lot)

-- with the german online training and no further knowledge i think the test is not good

The questions in the test where mostly at the same level of difficulty then the online ones.

Overall i completed the test succesfully in half an hour, many topics i think are something which you can know if you are in the IT field. Some things are special. Some are logic. Some discusable.

I think a lot depends on how much knowledge of IT you had before. If you studied computer science most topics which network should already been basic knowledge.

Hey, my name is Umair. I have 0 experience with anything IT based. I am transitioning from supply chain management and I am starting the CC course. What’s some advice you can give me? I’m kind of worried just because I know nothing about this material.
