I Passed the CC Exam

I am happy to announce that I have passed the CC exam successfully.

The online course was beneficial, but you should also consult other sources of information. I went for the "CC Certified in Cybersecurity" study guide by Mike Chapple. You can also try to practice with online CC quizzes available on the ISC2 website and other websites.

Good luck

Thank you for this, but the resources in there are not accessible

@Balo Yes, that's right. I'm not sure what's wrong with the website; the controls are disabled. I think we can contact support or open a ticket for this issue.

I have also been searching the manual for the course i registered for, for weeks now and i have been unable to get it. Maybe is no more available, because everything have changed since they updated their website.

Hi @Balo - have you followed the directions in this thread to find the free CC self-paced course that is avaialble to ISC2 Candidates? This offer is still available and the thread covers how to access it.

Or have you purchased a CC course and cannot find it in your account?

@sanadshuaib Have you already purchased the CC eTextbook by chance? That may be why you see the option to purchase disabled. When I visit that page - https://www.isc2.org/landing/cc-etextbook - I can see the option to buy is available, see below:

Dear @Kaity

No, I haven't bought any textbooks from the ISC2 website. I also noticed the problem when I tried to register for a training course like CISSP. This has been the case since the last update of the website.

@Kaity, I will try different browsers. If no luck, I will contact support. Thank you.

@sanadshuaib I checked with our team and shared your issue with them. They suggested the following...

- Refreshing your web browser

- Clearing your browser's cookies, cache, and browsing history

Either should resolve this, but in the off chance both options don't work, please try on a private/incognito browser.

If none of the above works, then yes, please do send us your details to MemberSupport@isc2.org for assistance

@sanadshuaib Upon review, we believe that you’re trying to access ISC2 services from a country where our services are not currently offered (which is why the purchase options are greyed out). We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with.

Apologies again for the difficulty.

Dear @Kaity ,

First, I appreciate your great interest in solving my problem, and I sincerely thank you for your help.

I understand that ISC2 is not offering its services in my country, however, I would like to talk about this subject as it has a great impact on us as members in the ISC2 community.

Registering for the CC program and passing the exam was one of the most exciting and enriching experiences in my career, of course I would love to continue this journey with ISC2 and gain other certifications like CISSP.

I know this is something out of your hands, but I would love that the board of ISC2 knows the difficulties that we encounter in order to have resources of learning and development in countries like Yemen.

I would appreciate your guidance on the right person to talk to about this issue.

Thanks again.

Thank you @sanadshuaib - I've relayed your thoughts on the matter to our legal team so that they can share with the board.
