I would check https://community.isc2.org/t5/North-America-Chapter-Groups/ct-p/NorthAmericaChapterGroups and see if there is a chapter in your area.  You could also check ISSA, OWASP, ISACA webpages and see if they have chapters.

The other place I have found some networking opportunities is on the Meetup app. You can look for IT/Security related meetups in your area.
