Dear study mates,
I am so excited that I passed my first industrial certificate before many more on the path. I want to share my experiences and some learning or exam skills with you to assist you in passing this certificate, too.
As a career changer in civil engineering and property development, it took me approx. 20 months to start cyber security from literally zero background. I participated and passed Certificate IV in cybersecurity and kept myself busy with a Master of Cybersecurity at the moment.
CC preparation took about three weeks until I passed it today (6AUG2024). I would say this exam helps me map out the blocks of knowledge and establish an architecture of the basic cybersecurity concepts.
Here are some of my study experiences that may be helpful:

Best of luck to all of you.

Good evening and please believe you doing very well. honestly, I am enthused with your experience shared and am also preparing seriously. With the greatest of respect, can you please send me some eTextbooks for my studying. Thank you.
Thank you @oj1 . I was following up on the free cc training from this website. I practised with open source information such as linked learning cc practice tests and some YouTube instructions. That should be enough. Please let me know if you have completed all these and still feel unconfident, mate. You got this.
Congrats Frank! I passed my cc exam yesterday.
I followed a similar track. self pace course, certmike course, and used the several practice tests to find my weak areas. Followed up with the cc book for the weak areas to practice more.
Prabh Nair youtube channel walks through some practice questions. It was helpful for me.
I thought udemy instructors have some good practice exams to prepare for the CC.
Good luck everyone!
