Tips I’d recommend for anyone taking ISC2 CC:
- Don’t just memorize—understand why an answer is correct.
Focus heavily on basic principles: the CIA triad, least privilege, access control types, encryption vs. hashing, and incident response.
Review common definitions and what each role (like data owner, custodian, etc.) is responsible for.
Learn how to eliminate wrong answers—many are distractors.
Use memory aids like mnemonics or flashcards for repetitive terms.-
