@Sway
Congratulations on passing your  CC exam!

And thank you for reaching out via ISC2 Community.

In the email sent to you on May 21, 2025, we informed you that "the final step in the certification process is to pay your first Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF)."

Once you pay your AMF, your first three-year CC certification term will begin on the first day of the month following your payment. So the best suggestion is to pay your AMF as soon as you're able. If you pay before May 31, 2025, your first CC certification term will begin on June 1, 2025.

I hope this helps withyour decision.

Dear Christine,

Thank you for your email and for the congratulations.

I would like to ask if it’s possible for me to pay the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) in July instead of May, and if so, how that would affect the start date of my CC certification term.

Additionally, I’d like to know how I can retain or renew the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification beyond the initial 3-year term. What are the requirements for maintaining the certification long-term?

Thank you for your support and guidance.

Best regards,
Ajayi Daniel Ayomikun
