I was certified as a CISSP and passed the CCSP exam last week.
According to JD, I've submitted mine as self-endorsed.
However, I visited the official ISC2 "Endorsement Home" today. It reads "Once you have passed the exam for an (ISC)² certification, you must be endorsed by another (ISC)²-certified professional before the credential can be awarded."
Can I withdraw my self-endorsed application and resubmit one backed by my endorser?
If so, how should I do?
Thanks!
Methinks this is a question best poised to Member Services. But tagging in a few folks to hopefully assist you here.
@SamanthaO_isc2 @amandavanceISC2 Can either of you redirect this discussion to help Wentz out?
With thanks
I've just called for support through online chatting and got my problem solved.
It's acceptable to submit a self-endorsed CCSP certification application.
I don't have to take any corrective action.
Thank you for your response and tagging.
From (ISC)²’s own web site about the CCSP experience requirements:
Earning (ISC)²’s CISSP credential can be substituted for the entire CCSP experience requirement.
Don't see why one would need anyone's help the explain that you fall into this scenario (although, it might be interesting to send them your acclaim badge
