ISC2 CAP Experience Requirements

I read that CAP requires a minimum of two years of cumulative paid work experience in one or more of the seven domains of the CAP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

Can I satisfy one year work experience if I hold one of the approved credentials on the (ISC)² approved list?

E.g. I already own SSCP.

Thank you

It usually says if you can waive any of the experience in the exam outline and would tell you what would be required to do so. Seeing as there are no waivers listed in the exam outline that means there aren't any, so you will need to prove you have two years of cumulative experience in at least one of the seven domains.

My recommendation would be to review the tasks/subtasks for each domain detailed in the exam outline and decide whether or not you have the required experience - often people underestimate the experience they already have.
