CISSP Endorsement Wait

Hello all!

For those waiting on your CISSP Endorsement Review approval from ISC2, the wait will continue.  It has been over 6 weeks since my endorsement was submitted and I just received the following:

"Typically, the endorsement review process runs around 4-6 weeks; however, due to a system upgrade, we are currently running closer to 8 weeks. This could be done sooner than the 8 weeks, we just ask to allow the full time for review."

So it looks like we are all in for longer wait times post endorsement.

Happy Waiting!!

Thanks for the update! Just a matter of time now...

Exactly. For those of us who have submitted the endorsement requests, 8 weeks would most likely pass before Christmas arrives. It will be a great present delivered in time.

This Thursday will be the six week mark for me

Maybe there should be badges for that.

"I waited six weeks for endorsement!"
"I waited eight weeks for endorsement!"
"I waited three months for endorsement!"

That might possibly be true, in recent terms. Way back when I got it, it was all
done within a month, as I recall ...

I did receive the approval on 10/18/18, so 9 weeks and 1 day.  They told me there was a system upgrade which caused them to get behind.  Hopefully they will catch up soon for all of you guys!

Thanks,

I've finally received my CCSP endorsement! Got the email about 30 mins ago. It took 7 weeks and 2 days for my application to be processed. I applied on 11th Sep and was awarded the certification on 1st Nov. Sadly, it seems the waiting time is increasing by a day or two with each week that goes by. I hope this information will help people to gauge how long their applications might take.
