Unable to pay maintenance fee with credit card

Hi

I am unable to pay my mainteneance fee with my credit card. I get an red error box that says please try again. Today is the last day to pay my maintance on schedule.

I have tried two different Mastercards cards as well.

Hi

I called them over the phone but they asked my cards CVV number and I decided not to share it. Perhpas we security guys are really sentitive to this 😄 Thus I did send an email to MemberSupport@isc2.org with a screenshot of the error with some additional info.

I was told over the phone that I still have 90 days grace period, so my guess is that my online payment will be fixed before that.

Ummmmm, isn't that what the CVV number is *for*? ...

No CVV is ment to offer protection against to target card-not-present fraud by asking for a simple code that should be easy for legitimate cardholders to provide, but is unknown to a fraudster. There is a reduced chance that your account will be used to make unauthorized purchases when someone obtains your credit card number without the CVV code. By giving your credit card number and CVV code gives, at least in theory, unlimited access to your card.

It is  my understanding that Merchants can choose whether to require the CVV code. But most online merchants do, and if you want to make a purchase with them, you'll need to provide your CVV code, usually with your credit card number and its expiration date.

Okey, I tried with a third card and now the payment worked.

I got an email confirmation, but my dashboard is not yet updated.

I am not able to pay either. I receive the same SAML error that so many have been posting about. I have also called and left a message with customer support yet no one has contacted me back. The first question is yet to be answered as to why we are receiving this error ? This is truly poor customer service and site issues from ISC2. Apparently you do not care about getting members to renew and pay their maint. fee.

I'm also not able to pay my AMF with credit card. It Says "Error Please Try Again". I tried multiple times but nothing is working. This is very frustrating. Sent email to the support but no response yet. Very poor service of the site and customer support.

I have identical problem,  trying with 2 different, issued by different providers, valid , active functioning  and belonging to me credit cards - the payment fails with the same error displayed on the screen.

When I go deeper and analyse the traffic sent and received by the web browser when trying to pay I see the following error:

Response from Payment Gateway
Payflow Pro (USD) Live
Response status:"Error"
Message: "Fraudulent activity detected: Carding."

It seems that IC2 has false positive in transition scoring and rejects valid credit cards payments. I tried one of the cards in online payment and it works. This excludes credit card/credit card /bank problem.

Kind regards
Paolo

We are aware of an issue that occurred over the weekend with our third-party payment processor.  That issue has been resolved.

Please try to submit your payment again and contact Member Services if you continue to have issues.
