Passed CC, planning on attending CISSP later, delaying paying AMF?

I passed the CC today. I'm planning on doing the CISSP later this year. Can I wait with paying the AMF until i've passed the CISSP? I don't really need the CC issued. But I'm afraid if I dont pay AMF for the CC I might get my account suspended and I need to pay 600$, at least some posts mentioned this.

AMF for CC is USD 50 and you have 9 months' time to complete all requirements for CC.

 

IF you plan to clear CISSP with endorsement before that then you can wait.
