Information Systems Security Officer in State College, PA
For established and new classified systems, you will be a member of our ISSO team:
- Conduct or lead risk assessments and provide recommendations for system, network, and application design
- Conduct or lead vulnerability assessments of unit-wide systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations or policies
- Conduct assessments of non-standard systems
- You may be required to travel occasionally to our satellite offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia
- Partial remote work is available for this position.
Requirements include:
- An active security clearance
- Certification and accreditation processes, such as RMF and DIACAP
- NIST/ISO standards, DoD directives, and regulatory requirements
- Operational experience, with familiarity in security/event log auditing
- Security plan development and/or continuous monitoring for compliance with security plans
- The ability to certify and maintain information security related certification
(Security+, CASP, GSEC, CISM, CISSP)
