Good evening,   I am planning to do the CISSP exam in June this year. I still have a question about the work experience. I am aware that I need 5 years of full time experience in at least 2 of the 8 domains.   In Germany we have something called "Ausbildung" which is like a job training. How does that count into the work experience? In this job training I worked full time 40 hours/week in at least 2 of the 8 domains. I have started in August 2020 until End of January 2023 and from there I have worked until now after my job training and in August 2025 I would have the 5 years of experience.   Does that count?   Thanks in advance and greetings from Düsseldorf, Germany! - Nils View More

I have three years of full-time experience in two or more of the eight domains of the current CISSP Exam Outline. I also have a BEng degree in networking and passed the AZ-500 exam this year. Will this waive two years or just one year from the required experience? If it does not waive two years, after certification, will I need five years of experience in total, or just one more year?
