(ISC)² partners with Acclaim, a product of Pearson, to deliver a standardized way of digitally representing your certifications and accomplishments in a verified manner. As an (ISC)² member, you can claim your badge for the (ISC)² certification(s) you hold. The badge is represented by a digital image that contains verified metadata to describe qualifications and the processes required to earn it. Your digital badge serves as a way for you to have your certification achievements recognized and for employers to verify your qualifications.

To claim your badge, look for the recent email that we sent you. You can also go directly to Acclaim create an account using the email that is associated with your (ISC)² membership. Once your account is set up, you’ll be able  to claim your badge. If you can’t find the email or need help, reach out to our team at badges@isc2.org and we’ll be able to assist you.

Hello,

Just to be sure I'm not wrong, we can't claim the digital badge without be ISC2 member? even if we pass the certification exam.

Could you please clarify.

Thank you and Regards,

MrC

@MrC

There are three steps to becoming a member of ISC2. First, you must take and pass one of the six credential examinations. Then, you must submit an endorsement application to prove that you have the years of experience that are required to hold the credential (the CC does not have the same career experience requirement). Once your endorsement is approved, you must pay the Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF). Then, you will receive an email within two weeks of fully certifying, inviting you to claim your badge. The email will take you to the Credly website where you can claim your badge.

To claim the badge, you must be certified.

Certified = Pass_Exam + Become_Endorsed + Pay_AMF

Hello- I just logged in to download my badge from Credly and it is showing  my status as expired 31 Oct 2021: https://www.credly.com/earner/earned/badge/b3f0ae16-f7c0-44b4-a9ea-f69fde347580

This is incorrect. The ISC2 side correctly shows my certification as not expiring until 31 Oct 2024: https://my.isc2.org/s/MemberVerification?MemberNumber=20339&LastName=Holst

Please advise.

Thanks -Eric
