Retired from City of San Diego in 2011 after 36+ years, including 12 years in law enforcement and 24 years in IT and Cybersecurity (from an IT Analyst up to departmental CIO); 12 years in management, including last 5 years as city-wide IT Operations & Security Manager (effectively the CISO).
