I am the I.T. Security Specialist at San Antonio College. I'm a member of ISC2, ISC2 Alamo Chapter, ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), ISSA (Information Systems Security Association), Cloud Security Alliance (San Antonio Chapter), the EC-Council, the Order of the Sword and Shield National Honor Society (Omicron Sigma Sigma), the National Society of Leadership and Success, and an alum member (Psi Kappa Chapter) of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. I graduated from St. Philip's College with two A.A.S. degrees in Information Security and Assurance and Network Administration in May 2016. I graduated from Western Governors University with a B.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance in March 2024, and a M.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance degree in April 2025. I hold CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Project+, CySA+, Pentest+, Microsoft Certified: SC-900, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (ISC2), Certified Cloud Security Professional (ISC2), and EC-Council Certified Encryption Specialist professional certifications. I also have the NSTISSI No. 4011 and CNSSI No. 4012 designations from the Committee on National Security Systems. I regularly participate in the Try Hack Me and Hack the Box online platforms.
