Job Description:

The successful candidate will be developing application features for the web-based application that we develop and support in a highly fluid team-environment. The day to day of this job includes:

Basic software-to-database integrationDeveloping efficient software features to deliver dynamic content to Jinja2 templatesEnsuring that the developing codebase is conforming to best practices in regard to coding standards, form validation (both on front-end and server-side), placement and flow of business logic, etc

 

Senior Level:

Expert level skills (8+ years) development in a LAMP stack environmentMinimum of 10 years' experience:Developing innovative web applicationsObject-Oriented design principlesPython (PHP considered), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SQLExperience 5+ years:Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAXExperience 8+ yearsDeveloping in a Linux environmentversion control systems; SVN, GIT, or other equivalent experiencedocumentation and communication skillsCurrent DoD Secret or higher security clearanceBachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Software development or equivalent technical major or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) and non-technical Bachelors degree

 

Mid- Level:

3 to 8 years' experience:Developing innovative web applicationsObject-Oriented design principlesPython (PHP considered), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SQLExperience 5+ years:Developing in a Linux environmentVersion control systems; SVN, GIT, or other equivalent experienceDocumentation and communication skillsCurrent DoD Secret or higher security clearanceBachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Software development or equivalent technical major or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) and non-technical Bachelors degree
