Being new...just learn about this FAQ now...did a quick read and find it very fascinating at least...full of wit and humor!   I will definitely go thru it at a slower rate as if taking the CISSP exam! lol.

Thank you so much!

The CISSPforum FAQ is indeed a great read and offers fun and interesting perspectives.  I concur that the FAQ author has a good sense of humor, in spite of being curmudgeonly.  The CISSPforum FAQ belongs to an old Forum that existed on Yahoo! for many years until it was deleted last month. The Yahoo! forum has two successors:

  • Groups.io CisspForum which you can access by registering.  It is volunteer maintained and is completely independent of (ISC)².
  • CISSP group on this community. It has its own FAQ, pinned to the top of the welcome board. Since you are a CISSP, you already have read-access to it.  Posting permission can attained by registering.  It is the official discussion forum owned, managed and maintained by (ISC)².

I encourage you to sign up for one or both discussion groups. The good news is that signing up for either is much easier than the process described for the old Yahoo! group.

Lol...funny that I think the other way around. 🙂   Started reading the posts in the forum and I feel I'm in the midst of lots of disucssion threads which are very interesting...I feel like a kid in a candy store with so much to see or in this case, read!

A friend of mine who just passed the CISSP exam and still waiting for his official ISC2 email conferring him the status is feeling quite jealous when I told him what I'm reading...lol.
